School Fees

Lighthouse Academy is a non-profit school with the intention of reaching out to the community of students who need an Individualized curriculum for several reasons.

Whatever profit that is made, is churned back to improve and upgrade the school hardware and software facilities.

Other funds come personally from the Director Dr Chew Yu Gee and Lost Paradise Resort,  which was intentionally set up to help maintain the grounds and defray the cost of running the school.

Our fees are based on

1. The teacher-student ratio

2. Level/Grade of student

The above are dependent on our diagnostic testing and assessment of the student during enrolment.

Please do contact us or pay us a visit for further information and enquiry.

Please contact us for the following:

Diagnostic Test - Do make an appointment for a diagnostic test to be done for a minimal fee. A word of assurance - students need not be anxious for he/she just does written exercises from several levels lower and keeps on working to higher level till he/she cannot attempt anymore.

Length of Time - It usually takes one to one and the half day. The candidate reports to school at 8:30 am like every other student.

The candidate joins in the morning assembly, takes part in all activities like PE or swimming and takes his breaks, recess and the lunch hour just like any Lighthouse student.

Thus the Diagnostic Test fulfils two aspects

1.  the orientation where the candidate experiences a day in Lighthouse Academy

         and

2.  the entry placement level is determined

When we have got the diagnostic results, we will give you a detailed report of where your child will begin for each core subjects. Then if you and the child is satisfied and happy with the results, we invite you to enrol your child as a student to begin school, by paying the enrolment fee and the necessary fees.

We then look forward to welcoming our new Student to Lighthouse Academy, subject to the availability of seats in the respective class placement of the Student.
