Frequently asked questions
What curriculum does Lighthouse Academy offer?
Lighthouse Academy uses the ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) Curriculum. As we are a Quality Status School, we are an exam center that can put students through a dual program (British or American). This is dependent on what career pathways our students intend to pursue for their tertiary education.
Both these Pathways, the ICCE /IGCSE and American High School Diploma are accredited and accepted internationally as well as locally by the Malaysian MQA.
Please look at the "About us" section or the bottom of this page for a diagram of available pathways.
Which universities or colleges can my child apply to after finishing school here?
Students can apply to universities and colleges in the USA, Britain and British Commonwealth Countries like Australia, New Zealand and over in Asia, in Singapore and Malaysia.
Many colleges and universities in the United States, in addition to local colleges with twinning programs (INTI, KDU, MCKL, Taylor’s College) have visited our academy to advertise their programs and educational courses.

Senior School 8:30am-3:30pm
We start off with a combined morning session where students lead out in singing and provide accompaniment with instruments such as the piano, drum, guitar and violin - a great way to build confidence for future work presentations or pitches!
This is followed by a devotional session led by a teacher or guest speaker.
Students then break up into their respective classes, and are guided by their teachers to be the best they can be!
How do I apply?
Call us to make a visit and indicate your interest to apply to be a student here.
Entry into the Academy is by level of ability rather than by age. Thus we believe every child can achieve at anytime and any age.
The admission level is dependent on the diagnostic test results.
